VENTURA, Calif. — Powerful, unsafe waves keep on beating a significant part of the California drift.
The National Weather Service says an expansive, significant lot northwest swell that arrived late Sunday has started to reduce yet will remain a peril through Tuesday.
Forecasters caution there’s proceeding with danger of expansive breaking waves overtopping rocks and piers, solid tear flows and minor seaside flooding of low-lying zones amid the morning high tide.
In Southern California, the Ventura Pier has been shut because of a lost heaping and supporting. Ventura police say the conclusion is until further notice.
